Mission

To create, develop, and provide opportunities that stimulate, encourage, and facilitate serious study of the Bible as the inerrant Word of God.  To come alongside of believers in Christ and encourage and create space for them to continue pursuing sanctification in their lives until Jesus calls us home.

Statement of Faith

There is one God, made up of three distinct parts...Father (YHVH), Son (Jesus), and Spirit (Holy Spirit/Breath of Heaven).

Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man.  He chose to become man to fulfill the scripture.  He was crucified, buried, and bodily resurrected, and is presently seated on His Father’s Throne, and will soon return to establish His Kingdom on the Planet Earth.

The Holy Spirit was sent to Christians after Jesus ascended to heaven to fulfill a specific purpose in this, the age of grace.  The Holy Spirit lives inside each believer and fulfills his mission by calling, equipping, revealing the very mind of the Father, and empowering believers, and is essential for any and all of the pursuits to be fruitful and effective.

The Bible is the inerrant Word of God.  In it's entirety, every word was inspired by the very hand of the Holy Spirit of God and is fully, totally, and uniquely reliable as the primary guide to justification and sanctification in Christ.

We are saved (justified) only by faith in Christ as our savior.  This means believing that Jesus is fully God and chose to come to earth as a man, to pay the price for the sins committed past, present, and future.  It is only by the shedding of his blood as a sacrifice for our sins, and in turn, our belief and acceptance of that sacrifice in our stead, completed by the defeat of death upon his resurrection from the dead that we are reconciled to God.  It is not by our works, but by belief and acceptance of what He did for us.

Sanctification is a process, a journey, that we begin the moment we are justified and saved in Christ.  While works don't save us, our works are the fruit of the process of sanctification happening in our lives through the work of the Holy Spirit in us.  Because all have sinned and fallen short, and because we have a sinful nature in our fleshly bodies, we will not be perfect or sinless in this life.  However, it is our duty as believers to strive to be Holy as He is Holy in honor of the goodness of God, our savior and creator.
